Jingna is a fashion, beauty, and fine art photographer based in New York City.
Born 1988 in the suburbs of Beijing to a sporting family, Jingna moved to Singapore at the age of 8, where she grew up exploring anime, fantasy art, micromouse, go, and piano.
After playing in a rock cover band in her early teens, Jingna became interested in visual imageries and left her education at Raffles Girls’ School to study fashion design. During this time, she represented Singapore in air rifle at the Commonwealth Games and ISSF World Cups from 2002-2008.
Jingna discovered photography during her time at art school, and eventually dropped out to pursue her passion for image-creation full-time. By 20, she had worked with Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, Mercedes Benz and Ogilvy & Mather Taiwan, and published her first photobook, “Something Beautiful". In 2012, Jingna moved to New York, and since then, her work has been featured on international editions of Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.
