Sometimes I hate Instagram. Sometimes I see it helpful.
Weekends are empty, and I use the wasted hours looking on Instagram powerful images. Suggestive photographs. I look for poetry.
I want to introduce a Vietnamese photographer, based in Prague, whose photography mainly in black&white is a pure art manifesto.
Her name is Liliana Pham. She used to be model, but decided to escape from modeling to become photographer, and discover the meaning of human being through photography.
In her artworks she explores melancholy. The effect of that feeling is accentuated by the contrast of b&w.
The rich grayscale shows reality with its complexity better than colors. And the work of Pham is a proof of how analogue photography is still in Vanguard.
